Responsible for scheduling meetings/conferences, preparing presentations, internal and external communications, expense reports and invoices, and coordinating department programs and special events.<br/><br/>Coordinate/administer department programs including: timekeeping, budgets, supply management, etc.  Manages a small number of business as usual projects.<br/><br/>Manages email and voicemail correspondence for the Department Director.  Responds to ad hoc requests and manages small projects such as filing, copying, researching problems, and/or managing a conference.<br/>Qualifications<br/>* Ability to work in a fast-paced and challenging environment; multi-task, quickly change direction and independently prioritize work in order to provide varied support to leaders across the department.<br/><br/>* Strong service ethic and demonstrated ability to be accessible and solution-oriented.<br/><br/>* Demonstrated collaboration and partnering skills to solve business issues with colleagues.<br/><br/>* Attention to detail.<br/><br/>* Proficiency w/ computer programs (MSWord, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) and administrative programs (Lotus Notes, Ariba Buyer, XMS, Concur, etc.)<br/><br/>* Ability to anticipate needs and make independent judgments given limited availability of leader.<br/><br/>* Ability to exercise discretion due to accessing and handling sensitive information.<br/><br/>* 1-3 years related administrative experience.]]></description>
