Responsibilities
Responsible for partnering with HR Business Partners and / or business leaders to proactively develop and implement compensation strategies and programs linked to business strategy. Prepare compensation packages with extensive use of compensation data, tools and applications, while being able to translate into easily understood recommendations or observations.

Consult with HR business partners and leaders on all compensation programs and practices that pertain to the respective business or staff group. Develop and deliver recommendations and solutions to leaders to address business-specific issues. Prepare compensation packages for new hires or promotions.

Assist with and in some case lead the design special incentive programs, including sales incentive plans that are competitive and aligned with business strategies and objectives. Partner with finance to ensure plans are cost effective. Assist with implementation, communication and administration of these special incentive programs. Monitor ongoing effectiveness of plan designs. Ensure special incentive programs are administered in accordance with approved plan designs.

Partner with other compensation team members on initiatives that cross organizational boundaries or have implications outside immediate area of responsibility, providing leadership/expertise within specialized area(s). Provide leadership to Compensation Analysts and Sr. compendation analysts including coaching and mentoring.

Provide leadership or key contributor role for compensation processes or systems. Participate as a team member in compensation projects and/or key initiatives.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree with 6+ years of comp experience or a Masters with 4 years of experience in compensation, which includes comp consultation

Excellent analytical skills and detail oriented

Demonstrated experience in providing consultation and compensation program management

Good relationship and communication skills, both verbal and written; ability to collaborate effectively on solutions to business issues.

Ability to work independently in a location that will be remote from rest of team, but also to exercise good judgment on when collaboration is needed.

Proficient use of Microsoft Excel required; working experience with MS Access and desired

Provide HR support in the execution of human capital strategies which may include the following projects:
* Evaluate success and recommend changes to existing recognition programs
* Provide project management support for talent management program

* Implementation of a new employer branding strategy deliverables
* Improvement opportunities to increase the on boarding experience for external candidates
* Conducting research to be used in the development of external sourcing strategies
* Assist with day to day business administration of health and welfare and retirement benefits, including:
* Partner with HR service delivery team in support of process improvement projects, training material and process documentation
* Support the assessment, design and implementation of benefit changes, especially communication of any changes
Qualifications
* Candidate pursuing an HRIR degree or a BA or MA with an HR emphasis
* GPA of 3.3 or above
* Previous Human Resources experience preferred
* Proven influence and relationship management skill
* Demonstrated ability to deliver results and manage multiple projects at a time
* Team player/individual contributor with a desire to function in a flexible, constantly changing environment
* Excellent project management skills, strategic thinking, and tactical implementation skills.
