<span  class='PSLONGEDITBOX' >This position is responsible for the design, development and implementation of training, coaching and overall development solutions to meet the Ameriprise Advisor Center (AAC) organizational needs.  This role is focused on developing and delivering training solutions using a defined, approach and methodology; including developing training materials and participating in ongoing needs assessment activities.    The training curriculum will include financial advisor sales strategies, sales processes/procedures, technology, in depth product and service components, along with compliance & regulatory requirements, etc.  This position will focus on both ongoing training and coaching of financial advisors in the aforementioned areas; including providing back-up for the implementation and delivery of training to new financial advisors hired into the AAC as required based on hiring needs..   
<br />
<br />Includes:
<br />
<br />- Conducting and facilitating training sessions through classroom, web-based, or self-paced delivery methods.  Drives desired behavior change  in financial advisors through skill development sessions and/or individual coaching to validate effectiveness of training and to ensure achievement of business objectives.
<br />
<br />- Providing subject matter expertise to help develop and create implementation plans for training programs and supporting materials to secure a successful implementation; utilizing existing resources as appropriate (Ameriprise University, RiverSource University, Organizational Effectiveness and Develompent, etc.). Ensures that existing programs and tools are effectively implemented within the business and desired objectives are achieved. 
<br />
<br />- Designing training programs based on outcomes from training needs assessment.  Identifies the appropriate training method -- e-learning, instructor-led, or blended approaches -- to achieve the desired organizational impact.  Partners with others on the team to create training materials such as curriculum outlines, and user/facilitator guides and other instructional design systems, as necessary.  
<br />
<br />- Assists in the day-to-day project work associated with training initiatives that may include vendor interaction, reporting, project stakeholder engagement and content reviews with subject matter experts in other lines of business.
<br />
<br />-  Facilitating sessions with stakeholders to determine whether existing or newly-developed training will address businessneeds.  Develop tools and survey instruments which assist in identifying training needs and report assessment outcomes to project stakeholders.  Utilizes the ADDIE model (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, and Evaluate) to ensure that the training initiatives achieve the desired outcome.</span>

<br />-  Support the Director of Security Strategy and Architecture in delivering education and mentoring on security technology strategy and standards.
<br />-  Research and monitor emerging Information Security strategies and design solutions
<br />-  Design, develop and support dashboard reporting for lines of businesses and organizational functions using tools including but not limited to Archer, Wiki, Excel, and other collaboration tools.

<br />Vertical Team Management 
<br />- Manage multiple vertical teams concurrently including membership, responsibilities, and results in a highly matrixed environment. 
<br />-  Responsible for driving results from both core and extended vertical team.
<br />-  Communicate and integrate security strategy and standards with virtual team members

<br />- Record all pertinent information into 529 supervision database and escalate as appropriate to corporate RP. 
<br />- Maintain appropriate Office of Supervison Jurisdiction (OSJ) files for each advisor. Respond to questions from field leaders, advisors and clients that have called one of our toll-free lines and could not reach the Corporate RP. Escalate to other members of the CSU as needed</span>

<span  class='PSLONGEDITBOX' >>Provide technical leadership to Investment and Asset Management for the day to day infrastructure operations of across network, phones, end user computing (Large Citrix Presence) and distributed computing. 
<br />> Oversee the design, build and support of infrastructure solutions based on business requirements, working closely with the Investment and Asset Management technical teams.
<br />> Provide technical support for infrastructure issues and respond to incident management bridge calls to help resolve issues quickly. 
<br />> Provide technical leadership and guidance for the all Infrastructure Delivery domains.
<br />> Work with business and technology partners to assist in the design as it relates to the management and implementation of AFI remote office infrastructure.
<br />> Effectively communicate status on infrastructure projects and critical production issues to leadership and business partners.
<br />> Assist in the management of internal and external infrastructure changes using the standard Ameriprise change mgmt processes.</span>

<br />> Demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical information to a non technical audience and to direct technical resources on project tasks. 
<br />> Excellent relationship management skills for interaction across multiple technology and business areas.
<br />> Demonstrated experience in the development of technology solutions to meet and exceed business expectations.
<br />> Certification and / or equivalent experience on the Microsoft Windows desktop and server operating systems.
<br />> Working knowledge of IT process and technology including the ITIL foundation.
<br />> Working knowledge of the Citrix and Virtual Application Deployments, Microsoft Operating Systems, Active Directory and Networking.
