Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include working with business partners and technical staff to analyze business requirements, develop detailed technical specifications and write programs for projects of varying sizes. Other responsibilities include providing critical system maintenance including trouble-shooting, occasional on-call responsibility and contributing to a successful team environment by assisting other programmers within the unit and sharing knowledge.
Qualifications
A four-year degree plus five years of application development and design experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required. We are seeking candidates with demonstrated experience in Object Oriented programming and design, preferably on the .Net platform with experience using C#, XML, ASP.Net, ADO.Net, Web Services and user interface development. Candidates with Java/J2EE experience will also be considered. The successful candidate will understand component based design and design patterns. Strong organizational, communication, problem solving and interpersonal skills are also required.
